Hello and thank you for coming by to visit my blog. I am a photographer, mom and wife. I love my life and all the little details that surround it. The Lord has blessed me in so many ways and I am so thankful that I am able to do the things I love to do....be a photographer and a mommy. Please share your thoughts with me and throw some comments my way. They always brighten my day. Thanks again for coming by to visit and come back and see me. If I haven't met you, I look forward to meeting you someday. Have a great and blessed day!

We Are Officially Here!

After a long plane ride that took us to Amsterdam and then Kampala, Uganda we are officially here. We have planned for this trip for so long that it is amazing to actually have our feet on the ground. We arrived last night around 10:00 PM local time which would be 2:00 PM Texas time. This trip would have not been possible if it were not for the grace of God. Jamie and I began praying about how to make this trip possible many months ago and God just made things happen in every aspect from blessing Jamie's photography business to providing family to watch over our kids. There are seven of us here meeting Vanessa from Fount of Mercy: me, Jamie, my Dad, Kathleen, Carol, Jamie C. and Jolynn. I would ask that you keep all of us in your prayers and more importantly that God would use our visit to impact the people of Uganda in the name of Christ. We are humbled to be here and to experience Africa. I know this week will be life changing, perspective changing and spiritually inspiring. We are about to get out into the town of Uganda. More to come to include pictures...

  2. It sounds like an amazing trip that God has allowed the seven of you to go on and I am thankful for your postings for us to see your experience as you go. You are right, all of us can and should do more for the people in need. I know my kids have anything they want and take it for granted. It is so easy to forget how little money it takes to make a big difference for them. Just think if we find some way to give more to the cause. Thanks Caleb and Jamie for the postings and we are praying for your safe return for all of the team. God bless each and every one of you. I know God has great things in store for each of you. Love You Guys...Candy
